On October 31, TÜV Rheinland Greater China – an international independent third-party testing, inspection and certification organization – held its first “Green and Sustainable Value Chain Conference” in Shanghai. The event brought together global energy leaders, top think tanks and green finance reps to discuss energy transition, offering one-stop green solutions for the industrial chain (policies, standards, finance, implementation).

The regulation sets strict full-lifecycle rules for batteries (raw materials, carbon footprint, recycled content, supply chain due diligence) and introduces a “battery passport” for traceability – pushing enterprises to speed up green transformation.
